*Topkapi Palace-(Except harem) The residential and administration of Ottoman Sultans which is housing a lot of Sultan’s Customes,Thrones, treasures, holy relics, porcelains and tiles with a great view of the Bosphorus. ( listed by Unesco in the world heritage list.)
*The Grand Bazaar- The biggest Covered Bazaar in the world which has about 4000 shops

DAY 3 : Istanbul – Bosporus Cruise – Asian Side

Morning pick up from hotel and continue to;

*Spice Bazaar, located close to water front nearby Yeni Camii (New Mosque) . This is a bazaar where you can find numerous kind of spices, dried fruits, nuts and seeds and also many other things. Closed on Sundays

*Dolmabahce Palace-built in 19 C AD in Baroque ,Rococo , Neo classical Style blended with Ottoman Architecture for Ottoman Dynasty. The lasts 6 Sultans of Ottoman Empire reigned in this palace. Dolmabahce Palace has 285 rooms and 43 halls. The biggest cyrstal chandelier which is 4,5 tons is in Dolmabahce Palace.

* Lunch

*Golden Horn is an inlet of the Bosphorus dividing the city of Istanbul and forming a natural harbor. One can see the old city and Galata tower panoramically while cruising from ferry.

*Bosphorus Cruise, through the waterway separating the two continents, Europe and Asia, with a possibility to take photographs of marble palaces, ancient wooden villas of Ottoman architecture besides modern residential and luxurious apartments.

We disembark in Uskudar in the end of the day and walk till the Maiden Tower which is located on small islet in Marmara Sea nearby Uskudar district. It is the best spots to view The European side of Istanbul which is full of minarets of mosques, palaces, towers .

We take picture of the Maiden Tower and take the underwater metro from Asian to European sideand return back to hotel

* Amisos Hill – we take a short cable car from Amazon village to Amisos Hill and we see the tumulus type tombs of Pontus Kings.

* Ilk Adim Monument ( First Step) – Mustafa Kemal Ataturk disembarked from 3 days ship journey here in 19 th may 1919 which is the begining of the independence war of the Turks. We see models of Ataturk and his friends marching from the sea to the city.
*Bandirma Ship – This is the excat model of Bandirma Ship which carried Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and his friends from IStanbul to Samsun.

* Samsun Kent Museum – Samsun City Museum which tells the history , the local cultur, ethnography and economy of Samsun.

*Ordu Boztepe -We ride on cable car and go 2700 meters from the sea up to Boztepehill .Boztepe Hill is 570 meters high and offers a speactacular view of Black Sea Coasts and Ordu City.

* Chocolate outlet store -Black Sea region is famous for its hazel nut and there are chocolate factories . We stop at outlet store for chocolate taste and shopping

*Giresun museum -The Musuem building is a Greek church and today is used a musuem to exhibit the neighborhood archeological findings

* Giresun Children Library – A Catholic church of 19 C was converted to libabry in recent years

* Zeytinlik Houses and Giresun Castle – We see the Greek houses in zeytinlik and view coasts of Black Sea from Giresun Castle.

*Tirebolu Castle or Saint John Castle -it was built around 10 C BC and renovated in later centuries.Located on little hill on the Black Sea Coasts and in Byzantine Era a church was built in the castle which was dedicated to Saint John .

* Fatih Mosque – A greek church which was called Panagia Hiroskaflos ( The Golden Head Mary) After the Turks conquered Trabzon it was converted to mosque and re-named Fatih Mosque after the Sultan who conquered the city.

Day 4 : Trabzon – Uzungol ( 85 km )
Departure at 08:00am and drive between The Balck Sea and and the mountain slope which is planted with tea , in another word between blue and Green . On the way we stop to see

*Surmene Memisaga Konak : A 19 Century Mansion was built in local traditional archithecture . Local stone and wood are blended in this building.

*Tea Factory: The tea is grown in Black Sea region in Turkey. Here we visit one of the factories and see the processing of the leaves and tea shopping opportunity.

Upon arrival we see Uzungol Lake (This lake is surrounded by mountains and forest and it is famous for its unique land scape.

Free afternoon to enjoy the nice walk around the lake.

Day 5 : Uzungol –Ayder (160 km )
Today’s drive is the most scenic drive of the tour.

*Ayder Plateu and the waters falls – we see the waterfalls in Ayder and the wooden houses built on the slope of the forest.

*Zilkale Castle which dominates the fantastic valley of Firtinaderesi River which is flowing in the bottom of a deep valley

*Cinciva ( Senyuva ) Village : A very small village established just beside Firtinaderesi River and acrhed bridge . There are small cafeterias beside the river with a fantastic view of the forest background. We have a tea nd cofee break at this small village

*Palovit waterfall: located ina remote valley about 40 minutes drive after Zilkale.

Karagol Lake is located in Karcal Mountain at 1500 meters hight . Karagol Lake is a picturesque small lake . it is in Borcka Natural Park.

We drive back to Borcka and have several photo stops to view the waterfalls and the mountains.

We see Muratli Dam Lake .Muratli Village remained in the reservoir and the minaret of the village is still in the water as if floating.

* Silk Market (Koza Han), built in 1491 by Sultan Bayezit II. It was both used as a caravanserai and a silk market .The han has remained the center of the silk industry and trade. It is composed of an inner courtyard surrounded by two stories of shops.

Day 1 : Arrival to Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport in the morning and transfer to Cappadocia.
Upon arrival we see North of Cappadocia

* Goreme Open Air Musuem – (We see the famous rock-cut churches & monasteries of Cappadocia with frescoes from 10-13 C AD.These churches have the best wall paintings of Capapdocia ).

* Uchisar Cave Houses and Pigeon Houses – We enter to one of the cave houses which are used as a cafeteria today and have an apple tea and see the interior of the cave house.

* Pashabagi fairy-chimneys valley known as Monks Valley as well.Here we see the natural mushroom ike rock formations and monks cells inside the rock formations.

* Avanos – Historic Pottery Town of Cappadocia. The first settlement in Avaos was established by the hitites on the bank of the Red River which provided abundance of red clay to the settlers.This art has been practised in Avanos since then.

* Dervent valley – also called as Pink or Imagination valley with Its famous pink rock formations.Here depends on your imagination power you will see many rock formatins look like different figures..The most remarkable one is the siting stone camel…

* Urgup fairy-chimneys – They are the symbol of Cappadocia with their caps on top. There are 5 mushroom -like rocvk formations just like a family
*Rose Valley -One of the best places to watch the sun set in Cappadocia .The color of the valley turns to pink even red in the end of the day .

Day 2 : Hot Air balloon and South of Cappadocia

In the early morning Hot Air balloon over land scape of Cappadocia is one of the most amazing experience in Turkey. After landing and chmapaigne party back to hotel have a breakfast relax and sight seeing in Cappadocia.

Morning Pick up from Cappadocia hotels (Between 09:00 to 09:30)

* Derinkuyu Underground City – The biggest underground settlement in the world which was used as a shelter by Christians of Cappaodcia especially in 7th and 8th C AD.

* Ihlara Valley, enjoy an easy hike through the best part of the valley along the Melendiz stream, look up and see many of Byzantine era churches, chapels, monasteries and hermits’ caves.

*Belisirma Village- Located in the middle of Ihlara Canyon. The walk ends up at the village and have the lunch here beside the river.

* Selime Monastery – It has a great view looking down the valley. The complexes were carved into volcanic rock outcroppings during the Byzantine period.

* Pigeon Valley, named after the thousands of pigeon houses carved into the slope of the valley .

End of tour at 17:30 pm transfer to Hotel

Day 3 :Cappadocia–Amasya 370 Km
Departure from Cappdocia at 0730 am . Upon arrival to Amasya visit :
*Rock Tombs of Royal Family of Pontus Kingdom -The Tombs carved into the cliff and facing to the Green River.

*Beyazit Mosque and its complex -This copmplex built in 15 th C AD after Beyazit The Second was crowned as a sultan. The Complex consist of Mosque , Madrasah , Imarethane(soup kitchen for poors and Turbe ( tomb of the sultan’s son)
*Hazeranlar Konak- A large traditonal of Amasya house which was built in 19 C and it is used Etnography Musuem.

*Green River District – We walk along the Green River and see the old wooden houses built on its bank. We see also the statues of the famous people who were from Amasya such as Strabon, the famous Geoghrapher

*Amasya Musuem – here we see the finding from archeological sites of Amasya including the mummies of a royal family

*Ferhat and Sirin Musuem – The famous love story of Ferhat and Sirin is displayed in the musuem as well as Leyla and Mejnun , Asli and Kerem , Romeo and Julliet

Day 4 :Amasya-Samsun ( 140 km )

After breakfast departure to Samsun at 0900 am .

Upon arrival we see :
*Amazon Village-This small musuem of Amazonas tells us about the life of Amazones who lived in this city around 14 C BC.

* Ilk Adim Monument ( First Step) – Mustafa Kemal Ataturk disembarked from 3 days ship journey here in 19 th may 1919 which is the begining of the independence war of the Turks. We see models of Ataturk and his friends marching from the sea to the city.
*Bandirma Ship – This is the excat model of BAndirma Ship which carried Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and his friends from IStanbul to Samsun.

* Samsun Kent Museum – Samsun City Museum which tells the history , the local cultur, ethnography and economy of Samsun.

Day 5 :Samsun -Sinop – Samsun ( 360 Km )
Departure from Samsun at 0800 am to Sinop . Sinop home of the Greek philosopher Diogenes was established by the Ionians of Miletos in 8 th C BC on Black Sea Coast. Sinop was named after Sinope , Queen of the Amazonas according to Greek Mythology . Sinop is also the furthest North of Turkey .

Upon arrival we see :

*Hamsilos cove – this is the place where the green meets the blue . The cove surrounded by forest.

*Diogenes Statue – Diogones the Cynic Philospher was born in Sinop and still he is holding a lantern and seeking for honest person .

*Historical Sinop Prison -This is where the famous Turkish Poet and writer Sabahattin Ali was imprisoned. It is a musuem today .

*Balatlar Church -It was built a bath in Roman and converted to church in 7 C AD .

*Sinop Musuem -which is a small archaelogical musuem where the artefacts were found from Sinop are exhibited here.

Day 6: Samsun – Ordu – Trabzon (325 Km)

*Ordu Boztepe -We ride on cable car and go 2700 meters from the sea up to Boztepehill .Boztepe Hill is 570 meters high and offers a speactacular view of Black Sea Coasts and Ordu City.

* Chocolate outlet store -Black Sea region is famous for its hazel nut and there are chocolate factories . We stop at outlet store for chocolate taste and shopping

*Giresun museum -The Musuem building is a Greek church and today is used a musuem to exhibit the neighborhood archeological findings

* Giresun Children Library – A Catholic church of 19 C was converted to libabry in recent years

* Zeytinlik Houses and Giresun Castle – We see the Greek houses in zeytinlik and view coasts of Black Sea from Giresun Castle.

Day 7 : Trabzon – Sumela Monastery – Trabzon

A full day dedicated to Trobzon and its neighbourhood.
Departure at 08.00am to Sumela Monastery
* Sumela Monastery is a Greek Orthodox monastery dedicated to Virgin Mary at Melas Mountain’s cliff viewing Altindere Valley. it was built firsty in 3 C Ad. And enlarged in later centuries . The rock-cut churches of the monastery designed with frescoes in Byzantine Era.

*Hagi Sophia Church&Mosque -A 13th CenturyGreek Church .Nowadays still in use as a Mosque. its fresoces are magnificent .

*Ataturk’s House – Essentially a rich Greek Business Man Mansion from 20 C AD. Later it was used by Ataturk as a summer house and therefore it is called Ataturk House

* Boztepe (Panoramic view of Black sea and Trabzon)

Day 8 : Trabzon – Uzungol ( 85 km )
Departure at 08:00am and drive between The Balck Sea and and the mountain slope which is planted with tea , in another word between blue and Green . On the way we stop to see

*Surmene Memisaga Konak : A 19 Century Mansion was built in local traditional archithecture . Local stone and wood are blended in this building.

*Tea Factory: The tea is grown in Black Sea region in Turkey. Here we visit one of the factories and see the processing of the leaves and tea shopping opportunity.

Upon arrival we see Uzungol Lake (This lake is surrounded by mountains and forest and it is famous for its unique land scape.

Free afternoon to enjoy the nice walk around the lake.

Day 9 : Uzungol –Rize-Ayder (160 km )
Today’s drive is the most scenic drive of the tour.

*Ayder Plateu and the waters falls – we see the waterfalls in Ayder and the wooden houses built on the slope of the forest.

*ZilkaleCastle which dominates the fantastic valley of Firtinaderesi River which is flowing in the bottom of a deep valley

*Palovit waterfall: located ina remote valley about 40 minutes drive after Zilkale.

DAY 1 : Arrive in Istanbul

Arrive in Istanbul and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure

DAY 2 : Istanbul – Old City Tour

Today we have full day Istanbul Old City tour. We see the monuments from Ottomans, Byzantine and Roman Era.

Pick up from Hotel at 09:00 am and istanbul tour .Today we visit :
*Hippodrome-The horse cart’s race place during Roman Era, its Obelisk, Orme Pillar,entwined snake pillar are still visible today.
*The Blue Mosque- 17 C AD Mosque , masterpiece of Turkish Islamic Architecture. Listed by Unesco in the world heritage listand designed with excellent blue tiles which gives the name to the mosque.
*Hagia Sophia- Built in the 6 C as a church during Justinen Era and converted into Mosque by the Turks in 15 C AD .Today it served as a museum to its admirers and converted back to a mosque recently. Listed by Unesco in the world heritage list.
*Topkapi Palace-(Except harem) The residential and administration of Ottoman Sultans which is housing a lot of Sultan’s Customes,Thrones, treasures, holy relics, porcelains and tiles with a great view of the Bosphorus. ( listed by Unesco in the world heritage list.)
*The Grand Bazaar- The biggest Covered Bazaar in the world which has about 4000 shops

DAY 3 : Istanbul – Bosporus Cruise – Asian Side

Morning pick up from hotel and continue to;

*Golden Horn is an inlet of the Bosphorus dividing the city of Istanbul and forming a natural harbor. One can see the old city and Galata tower panoramically while cruising from ferry.

We take picture of the Maiden Tower and take the underwater metro from Asian to European side and return back to hotel

DAY 4 : Flight to Cappadocia & North Cappadocia Tour

Early Morning transfer to airport and fly to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, pick up transfer to Cappadocia. We Visit:

* Goreme Open Air Musuem – (The best rock-cut churches & monasteries of Cappadocia with frescoes. These churches were designed by some professional artist of Constantinapolis in Byzantine era ).

* Uchisar Cave Houses and Pigeon Houses – We enter to one of the cave houses which is used as a cafeteria today and have an apple tea while relaxing and feeling the cave life in the earlier times.

* The Pigeon Valley – The valley which is housing thousands of Dovecotes which was dug out into the cliff of the valley by the farmers of Cappadocia to collect the guano and fertilize the farms in the past.

* Pashabagi fairy-chimneys Valley known as Monks Valley as well. We see the natural rock formations resemble the mushrooms with some monks caves in them. Here the monks secluded themselves from the community to feel closer to God just like Simeon of Syria who lived a top of pillar in a small room for 37 years.

* Avanos – Historic Pottery Town of Cappadocia which is located on the banks of Red River .Its inhabitants produced poettery since it was estabilshed till today .

* Dervent valley – also called as Pink or Imagination valley with Its famous pink rock formations.Here depends on your imagination power you may see many rock formatins look like different figures..The most remarkable one is the siting stone camel…

* Lunch in Belisirma Village in middle of Ihlara valley.

* Selime Monastery is the biggest rock-cut monastery in Cappadocia. Selime Monastery is situated in the end of Ihlara Canyon in a high cliff.

* Derinkuyu Underground city is the biggest underground shelter in Cappadocia. we decend 40 meters underground and see many caves , tunnels, ventilation shaft, kitchen , missionary school, winery, church etc..
